Phi
Phi Islands - Beaches
Phi Phi Don

Phi Phi's main island
is where you will find a range of accommodation
from basic bungalows to more up market resorts.
Nightlife, shopping and restaurants are
located generally around the central Tonsai
area, where the boats arrive and depart.
The smaller beaches directly north and south
of Tonsai also have some basic accommodation,
but the most of the more upmarket resorts
are located around the smaller areas on
the north and east coast, usually with their
own beach. These are accessible by local
boat from Tonsai as there are no roads on
the island.
Ton
Sai Bay
1 km of white sand beach - the main area
where the boats dock. Lots of accommodation,
restaurants and places to meet. The beach
area streches back to Ao Lo Dalam, around
the central area which forms the focus of
the island. Touristy but fun.
Haad
Yao or ‘Long Beach’ where the
best snorkeling reefs are found. Boats leave
regularly from Ton Sai, or you can walk
along the beach from Tonsai at low tide.
One of the most popular southern beaches.
